Download

Save a URL to a local folder or a remote, including YouTube, TikTok and SoundCloud links.

Download saves the file behind a URL to a folder of your choice, local or on a remote.

Besides direct file links it understands pages that host media, YouTube, TikTok, SoundCloud and Google Drive links among them.

Downloading a file from a URL straight to a remote

Rclone UI resolves the page to the actual file, and rclone does the download, so a file can go straight to a remote without passing through your disk.

Supported platforms

The resolver extracts the direct file link and suggests a filename for, among others:

  • YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Twitter / X, Facebook, Pinterest
  • Spotify, SoundCloud
  • Capcut, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, SnackVideo, Cocofun
  • Google Drive, MediaFire
  • Direct file URLs (any URL that already points at a file)

A platform that is not listed may still work: paste the URL, and if a preview appears, the download will too.
